A big thank you to everyone for their generous donations and time taken out to help organize and arrange these backpacks.

From the handwritten notes, to packing them up, Flyway Express and DHL Express made such a huge impact and were able to fulfill 350 backpacks for Evans Elementary school so that every one of their students will have a backpack with school supplies. Through your generosity and hard work, parents won’t have to delay in enrolling their students in the engaged classes due to not having any supplies for their kids, The children will be able to Be the Weather and Smile to brighten the world.

Our journey started with a Shipment inspection and discovering $400 inside the luggage that the Shipper generously donated to us. We will be sharing the pictures with her and of her impact.

Hometown Heroes Flyway Express came right in, and Steve and Brian generously donated $1000 to help make such a significant impact on the kids. Kudos to the MEM team, from Mike, Loritha, Robbie, Tim, Walter, Rosalyn, Khalil, taking their time and making generous donations to Connect People, and Improve Lives.

Big shout out to Cheryl for taking extreme ownership and setting an initial goal and wanting to exceed that goal. From 200 to 201, to 350. Then multiple grocery store runs, and lugging two to three shopping carts at times behind you with an unpaid intern. Quite remarkable to engage the store employees and negotiating price discounts in store.

Next project, having the opportunity to have a global impact and support our colleagues and the children in Haiti!
